Sprung from the Hessian sandpits and apple wine pubs André Galluzzi became a DJ in 1990 - from rather privately organised open air parties via the job as resident DJ at the café 'Wiesbaden' up to Dorian Gray in Frankfurt. From 1992 Berliner air climbed up his nose by continous guest performances (e.g. at Bunker), which lead to an engagement at the Tresor - last but not least because of his feeling of the right mixture made of the varity of electronic sounds. Until 1996 the guest performances turned to home matches since André moved from Frankfurt to Berlin.

During the course of his job with Neuton between 1994 and 1996 he met his subsequent companion Paul Brtschitsch. Particular the mutual ventures lead to the cornerstone for the development and foundation of his Taksi label in 1995. Affected by André's experience as DJ and Paul's technical know-how the Taksi-specific deeply kicking sound was born. The sounds extend in their entire universalism from dark spacy tones up to the light-hearted laxness of House-oriented music, from minimal-pounding via trippy up to fat beats.
